Two numbers, on purpose

Activity shows Screen-on time recorded while your screen was on and unlocked, alongside active input, the time recorded while you were typing or clicking. These are descriptions of captured computer use, not measures of productivity, focus, fatigue or health. Missing permissions, paused tracking and gaps in capture affect coverage.

Pausing tracking

A Tracking / Paused toggle on the Activity dashboard turns activity tracking on or off directly — separate from the screen-capture pause described in Pause, exclude & delete.
