Who provides Selv

Selv is developed and supported by Louis Hein, trading as Selv · Switzerland. Terms of Service identify the software provider and the licence terms.

Checkout and receipts

Paddle is the merchant of record and authorised reseller for purchases completed through Paddle checkout. Paddle handles payment, applicable taxes, receipts and payment support. Your checkout and receipt identify the relevant Paddle entity and the final amount.

The current offer is Free or Sovereign at €199 once for the first 500 licences, then €399. There is no recurring Sovereign subscription. See Pricing for availability; a waitlist signup is not a purchase or a licence reservation.

Refunds

A full refund is available within 30 days of purchase, with no deductions or processing fees. Email support@selv.io from the address you used to buy, and include your order reference. You can also use the payment-support link on your Paddle receipt.

A refunded licence is no longer valid for paid use. A refund does not erase your retained local data or take back anything you already exported. Keep a backup of the memory you want to retain.

Included updates

Sovereign includes versions released during the first 180 days after purchase. Those covered versions remain licensed after that period. Later versions may require a separate optional purchase; there is no automatic renewal or recurring charge.

A perpetual licence does not guarantee compatibility with future macOS releases or continued availability of third-party services.

Keep your purchase email and use Moving devices & licence recovery for the next steps. Never send support your private memory, passwords or recovery files.
